Having provided and installed elegant and functional window treatments in thousands of homes in Indian River and Brevard Counties over the last 17 years, as Window Harmony, Gary has become increasingly aware that there was a need for experienced home watch professionals to check people’s houses with a keen eye, looking for obvious issues, resulting in peace of mind for the home owners while away.

Since fielding numerous requests from home owners for such a service, as Harmony Home Watch, Gary has become licensed, bonded and an accredited member of the National Home Watch Association, a national organization of professional home watch businesses. Gary has also secured insurance specifically tailored for the home watch service.

While being passionate about attention to detail and accountability, Harmony Home Watch will work as your eyes and ears, providing a hands on approach for the protection of your investment in the sunshine state.

Originally established 12 years ago under the name Guida Home Watch in Melbourne Beach, Florida. The name was recently changed because I realized I was more experienced than most in our area and I wanted to take the business to the next level, while meeting the needs desired. By becoming bonded and an accredited member of the National Home Watch Association, a national organization of professional home watch businesses, and securing insurance specifically tailored for the home watch service I provide, reflects the seriousness of which I take this responsibility. While you are away, you can count on my reliability, abilities and professionalism as your eyes and ears on site. I will work with you to address and resolve any issues that may arise in your absence. 

About Gary

Having grown up in Westchester County, NY, I commuted into New York City where I played basketball for and attended Manhattan College in the early 70’s. Shortly thereafter, I became involved in a biblical research and teaching ministry and ran in-home fellowships, teaching the Bible and running seminars and classes. This passion is an integral part of my DNA to this day.

After spending about 20 years as a Systems Engineer and Technology Manager in editorial technology, in the Magazine Division for Time Warner Inc, I began renovating, renting and flipping homes. This experience provided a firm foundation from which to build a business, Window Harmony, selling and installing window treatments. With family in Florida already and the flexible nature of this new line of work, we decided to move to Florida in 2005.

It was shortly after taking up residence in Melbourne Beach and later, in Vero Beach that it became apparent that there was a huge need for a home watch service that would visually inspect homes or properties while the homeowners are away, looking for obvious issues. Thus, the birth of Harmony Home Watch, your eyes and ears, providing a hands on approach for the protection of your investment in the sunshine state.
